ABSTRACT:
Using Fluke MET/CAL and advanced programming techniques, this tutorial will cover a standardized method for creating drivers for new hardware not natively supported by an instrument-specific Function Select Code (FSC). used to create an automated calibration.
We will cover how to create sub-procedures / sudo-drivers and call them from the main calibration procedure. Then calculate and include ISO\IEC 17025 compliant measurement uncertainties.
Students will get to create a sample procedure using the Meatest 9010+ calibrator and receive a set of free sample drivers they can use as a template for other standards in their lab.
